I found out that my program dvddao was placed in the nominee list for The OS2 World Award as the unix port. This is the error. dvddao is genuine os/2 program and was written by me from the scratch, there is no unix dvddao program, i havent ported it from elsewhere. I insist you either remove dvddao from nominee list or move it to another category.

Sorry for inconvenience.

Sorry Nikk, this has been updated and you have been moved to the correct category.

Oh, and I noticed this threads subject claims that it's the 4th and not 5th award... well, copy and paste sometimes tends to go way too fast. It's of course the 5th time for the OS2 Award event.

Still many errors:

PMView Pro is owned by Peter Nielsen. He also works for Blueprint Software, but PMView is his baby exclusively.

phpGUI is NOT a PHP application but a native OS/2 "framework" for developing PHP sites. It's developed by Lutz Wagner from Germany.

It's "Typo3" and NOT "Typo/3." I really think that Roland Schmalenberg, Michael Oehlhof, and Paul Smedley should be mentioned for getting Typo3 to run on OS/2.

Also, why does the link for VOICE point to the "About" page? I think linking to the index page would be better, i.e., just www.os2voice.org.

GIMP 2.x has been ported by Frank Gießler from Germany.

XFree86/OS2 has been ported by Frank Gießler from Germany. The link falsely points to gcc.gnu.org.

The link for GCC/LIBC should point to gcc.gnu.org or better to Innotek (www.innotek.de), IMHO.

Well, may I suggest that the information for the award nominees is reviewed by some people prior to the voting process next time?

Thanks for the info and I'll update it tomorrow. It has been sent out to a few people.... but it would be great if people that have interest of being part of the process to handle this event join up together with Thomas.
