Can one "Undelete" files under HPFS ?

If yes, my questions are :

a. Is it by default capable to do so or I need to specified in config.sys or somewhere in OS/2 ?
b. If that file was already overwritten with file of the same name, will the answer different ?

If NO,
Besides OS feature, is there any third party add-on tools which enable one to do so ?

Thanks in advance

Try File Phoenix 1.35 (IBM EWS) but it might fail on bigger (>2Gb) drives. Otherwise I recommend the Gammatech Utilities (they never let me stood in the rain)

I've always used Graham Utilities to undelete files on HPFS. Or you can activate OS/2's 'undelete' feature by activating the DELDIR command in config.sys

And the other one to look at is DFSee (http://www.dfsee.de). It's undelete works well.
