Hello,

I can not install OS2 warp4 (rev 9.023) on a virtual HD of 2 Giga (not yet formated)
When I insert install disk 1, the floppy is not recognised (I tried several copies). It seems that the install process is hanging.
(Install disk 1 and 2 are modified for use with large disks).

Can someone explain me what is happening here? (and why)

I found a work around : Installing OS2 from images of these disks.

As far as I remember, Virtual PC does not recognise USB devices at all. In fact it doesn't know about USB at all.

I think the OP is talking about mapping the USB floppy (which I assume is recognised in XP) to the A drive in the Virtual PC, rather than accessing USB hardware directly in VPC. Also, I don't know if the M$ version of VPC can access USB directly, but you are right to say that the Connectix/Innotek version didn't.

PHE: can XP access the floppy mormally, and is it called A in My Computer?
