Is there any way to undelete files on a JFS drive? All my stored mail has disappeared, which entirely cripples me.

Hoping for help,

A.S.

Have you checked for utilities at http://hobbes.nmsu.edu , http://www.os2site.com or http://www.os2bbs.com ? You could also ask at the forum at http://en.os2.org or at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/os2conect .

"1. Os2 warp 3 & 4 have a command line utility called undelete. Make sure the undelete directory settings are not remmed out in your config.sys and autoexec.bat files for os2 and winos2. Read the command reference book in the information object.
2. Go to the hobbes website
http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/cgi-bin/h-browse?sh=1&dir=/pub/os2 and do a search on undelete. I really like the pheonix undelete program.

This was copied from http://groups.yahoo.com/group/os2conect . It might not be what you are looking for but it is a start. There was mention of JFS at http://www.ecomstation.com . Perhaps someone at their forum might have the answere or tip or help for this question.
