When looking at PolyEx home page ( http://www.polyex.com
) it then looks like that they aren't around anymore. But the http://www.hopkinsfbi.com is still around. My guess that it would be an idea to ask them if they have any thought about making the game open source. Don't think that they sell any more.

There is an icon of 'OS/2 Warp' on the top of the site but no mention of OS/2 Warp anywhere below. Since there is a Windows and Linux version of the game, they might be reluctant to 'open source' it (IIHO).

Exactly my idea too; I've never played the game but it adtually looks kind of nice when checking out the screen shoots posted on their page.

Since there is a Windows version, perhaps it could be used with ODIN with OS/2 Warp.

..well, we sholud try at least for they to turn it freeware.

I haven't ask PolyEx nothing about opensource their games yet. My strategy was to start with the smallers ones to see the response. (which was very good) And them go for the bigger ones like Stardock or PolyEx.

I will give it a try when I get the time.

I sent an e-mail to Stardock asking if they would open source their OS/2 software. They said they were not interested in releasing the source code. Since Stardock has dropped OS/2, I have dropped them.

Yah, I've played a demo of Hopkins Fbi and have yearned for a full version download. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one. When Hopkins Fbi does become 'open source', someone tell me!
