I just bought an Abit KV7-V mb..
It has SATA support...
I have 1 SATA 80 Seagate, and 1 older Maxtor 40gig HD.
ON trying to install eCS1.2 after the eCS spash screen I get
a Trap 000e error, this does not happen all the time..
On the few times I've gotten to the install screen,
It did not show any SATA HD..
ON another note, when trying to boot to WSeB on the Maxtor HD
the boot processes completes but I get a Trap 000d error...

unforturnatly I have not been able to get Abit tech on the phone
and they have not replied to my email as of today..
I was able to get win98se to boot, not that I use windoze,,just
have it on an older hd...
I was able to update the ABit bios to the current ver (15)...
If anyone has any info\help, Idea's...
Best
Dave

Good news.. I've got 8 of these on computers for work (they are installed in video game systems) and they randomly crash booting winXP on those. lol.. Other then update bios, try using the newest version of dani.. I don't have any ideas. Possibly check out the bios options, it is possible you need to disable something or change it's mode.
