Computer compatibility with eCS 1.2.

ASUS P4C800 Intel Mboard (800MHz FSBus)
1GB Kingston memory (2-512MB PC3200 DDR400 sticks)
ATI Radeon 9600XT 128Mb AGP Dual Vid Crd
2-Maxtor 6Y080PO 80Gb ATA133 7200 Hrd Dr.
Intel Pent4 3.0GHz 800MHz 478Pin Amb
NEC ND-3500A 16x16 DVD+RW/RW DVD Drive
Liteon 16X DVD-ROM Drive
NEC 1.44MB Floppy Drive
Sound Blaster Live audio card
480Watt Antec Power Supply

The on-board ADI AD1985 6-Channel audio CODEC was
not detected. Reason for the SB Live card.

The on-board 3Com 3C940 Gigabit PCI LAN Controller
was not detected. No use for same here so used
IBM NULL MAC Driver (NULLNDIS.NIF) for the network
adapter.

eCS 1.1 would NOT install on this unit BUT 1.2
installed without any problems.

The SciTech video drivers included with eCS 1.2
work fine but only recognize 16Mb of the 128Mb
available. An upgrade to v.3.0 of SciTech allows
full recognition of the 128Mb on the card and
functions Great!

The unit is currently set up as dual boot for
eCS/XP Pro.

An OS/2 user since v.2.11 and now a Very Satisfied
eCS 1.2 user.
