I still like the old Opera 5 for OS/2 and use it frequently, although it is starting to become more difficult to use because a lot of pages don't load properly on it and so I have to use a combination of Opera and Firefox / Mozilla.

I'd love to see an updated Opera port, but I too doubt it will happen. Might run under Odin, as the original port was compiled using the Odin DLL's and calls.

The last time I checked, Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operating system and since Windows isn't free, nor is IE.

Then again, if you use Windows, you get what you deserve...

Well, there is also http://os2.tucows.com/preview/4842.html Internet Explorer for Windows 3.1, which is a free download. It could be said that since Win3.1 wasn't originally envisioned to have internet access, that this browser is "free"... but that's all just technicalities...

There is no free opera for OS2 /eCS, thats the point.
The old OS2 version is buggy, crashes a lot and is not free at all.
