are there any plans/projects to get Java upto date, developers version (Golden Code) not odinised.
my company asked Golden Code the posibility to open source their code, they are willing but their work on this project must be paid for before releasing the code.

all I see is more and more projects closing or being discontinued, how long will us eCS users can hold out without being upto date?

Yes Mensys is looking into developing a new version of Java and we are talking to different parties.
Right now however not much has moved forward. Its looking what technology is the best route.
However could you contact me and tell me more about your company ?

Good to hear that Java is being looked at. It's really necessary for OS/2!
