26. It is truly Object Oriented, allowing many housecleaning, resource tracking, GUI and operational functions to work with minimal to no overhead - accurately, quickly, extensibly and transparently. (And MS STILL cant catch up with such simple things as broken links because you moved a file, folder or shortcut - much less the plethora of other features that are object based in OS/2... personally, I love seeing every shortcut instantaneously cross-hatch because I opened one of them or the original - all with no extra overhead - which is of course just one minor aspect of it's Object Oriented nature)
27. Because of #26, and #22 (I mean #1... sorry Radek!

), object menus (since they are true objects) are infinitely extensible, on a per OBJECT or per CLASS basis... (wrote a simple Rexx Script to change MP3's to WAV, and WAV to MP3s using custom parameters, and assigned it to the WAV Object class - and viola! All my WAV files/MP3 files suddenly had that option on their menu!!! And then there is of course, xWorkPlace and Cris W.'s WPS Wizard, CWMM, and dozens of other such object extensions <--MS eat your heart out!!! My Windows using friends are still so amazed that a plain folder can suddenly become an MP3 player that doesnt break links/lose track of files when I move the originals - and takes up NO CPU power to open the "player" - even on a low end machine.)
