Open watcom lib question
« on: February 18, 2017, 09:39:33 pm »
Does anyone know where there is a list that indicates which functions are contained in which lib files? I specifically want to know which lib file contains the time functions. Are all the time function code isolated by itself in one lib file? I would just like to recompile that lib file, if possible since I modified some of the code in 2 of the functions. This is version 1.9. I have downloaded the source. Creating apps with it is working great but recompiling existing lib files from source is turning out to be another ballgame with me apparently.

Hi adam

Not being a watcom user I cannot answer directly but can suggest a text search through the watcom source code for "time" should be of use.

For static libraries, wlib should be able to give you a listing of the OBJ files contained in the library plus the names of the routines contained in those OBJ files. That should give enough of a clue.

Okay thanks gentleman. I will give both those suggestions a try.
