Hi all,

I'm trying to install OS/2 Warp 4 on VirtualBox (running under Windows Vista). But so far, I get a "TRAP C" after reading the second diskette when booting the first time.

I use "VirtualBox 2.0.6", which allows to set "OS/2 Warp 4" as a guest operating system. Has anyone tried it and got further than I did?

Thanks a lot in advance,
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

I havent tried that, but the docs say:

"
Works, with Additions

Requires VT-x hardware virtualization support. Only MCP2 is reported to work reliably so far.
"

As I am unfamiliar with VirtualBox v2 builds, you may wish to see if something needs to be done (or added to it - ie: an "OS/2 Addition" package) to enable VT-x hardware virtualization.

You may also wish to check here:

Otherwise, hopefully someone here will have a better answer.

Question: Have you tried earlier versions? If so, same results or different?
