Hello,
I have problems also with the DVD, only works with the dvd in the boot with the dvd of the arca50.
When I insert the w-xp-dvd, it does not work. For vbox.
Dvd-tools shows me this in log:
>> C:\usr\bin\cdrecord.exe -scanbus
**ERROR: Cannot open ASPI-Router (aspirou$) !!
C:\usr\bin\cdrecord.exe: No such file or directory. Cannot open or use SCSI driver.
C:\usr\bin\cdrecord.exe: For possible targets try 'cdrecord -scanbus'.
C:\usr\bin\cdrecord.exe: For possible transport specifiers try 'cdrecord dev=help'.

--Pete, printer problems, I test to print with e.exe, and fail, only print the text in one line, but others programs work for me with psprint

Saludos

Here it works. I suggest you open a ticket (attach the logs!!!! from \var\log\inst_log.zip) https://mantis.arcanoae.com
It seems for some reason http://home.clara.net/orac/files/os2/aspirb10.zip did not get installed.

Hence the error message.

This is the same message i saw when I did my first install and afterwards trying the DVD Tools.
Another thing: I'm sorry concerning the logs, my memory skipped the fact that I did not only delete the DVD tools but also did a new install afterwards, so no logs concerning this error.
But: I tried to install the DVD Tools again using the wpi on the Arcaos-DVD.
I then realized that the CDR-Tools themselves had not been installed so I looked for the package using the Package manager and found version 3.01.1 listed. I tried to down load and install but I received the following message :
[u'ERROR with transaction check vs depsolve:', 'ASPIROUT is needed by cdrtools-3.01.1-1.oc00.i386', u'Please report this error at http://trac.netlabs.org/rpm/']
My config.sys shows:

DEVICE=C:\OS2\BOOT\ASPIROUT.SYS
BASEDEV=OS2ASPI.DMD /ALL

and both are in the OS2/boot directory

Cheers
Holger

I install this file but not see any difference. That's why I think it will not be an installation problem.
But connecting an external usb dvd, works perfect.

I have installed ArcaOS5 but it would only work with the GENGRADD video driver.  How can I switch video drivers?  I would like to try Panorama again, or SNAP.  Is there some forum where such questions would be more appropriately posted?

Panorama and SNAP should be under S:\CID\SERVER (assuming your DVD drive is S:), read the README's for the installation procedures, basically resetting your system to VGA and then running install.cmd or setup.cmd with the right parameters
