How to know the size of partion using os/2 commands in commandline?

Hi GSM,

In particular, you should use:

chkdsk <DRIVE:> /f:0

That will do no repairs and just report information regarding the partition. Another option is chkdsk <DRIVE:> /c which will only repair the partition if it is damaged.

More info on chkdsk can be found by going to an OS/2 Command Prompt and typing "chkdsk /help


And of course, a simple REXX script will also accomplish what you want without the overhead.
