This one ?

http://www.os2world.com/forum/index.php/topic,633.msg6089.html#msg6089
No, didn't test that one, now I did ;-). Did test it on the point where it fails, but that's history with this version. I will update my page, but this version is the last version for OS/2. We have to wait for an update on Java. Thanks for pointing out, thought they referred to the one on Sourceforge. That one won't work.

I have updated my page about the program jEdit. Thanks Greggory Shaw for pointing out. The new page in English can be found here http://joopn.home.xs4all.nl/os2ecs/ecs6e75.htm and the Dutch page can be found here http://joopn.home.xs4all.nl/os2ecs/ecs6n75.htm.

And here a screenprint:

You can clearly see that file and directory problems are solved. The page about jEdit 4.5.2 is still there, if you want that for some reason, give me a call.

I have updated one of the first Java programs on my homepage. It is the program Freeplane. The update is about version 1.3.15.  The announced new version 1.5.12 needs Java version 1.7. Information and instructions about version 1.3.15 can be found here http://joopn.home.xs4all.nl/os2ecs/ecs6e3.htm and the Dutch page can be found here http://joopn.home.xs4all.nl/os2ecs/ecs6n3.htm.

It looks like this;

Okay, have fun! and up to next program.

I have updated the pages of JMol, the English version can be found here http://joopn.home.xs4all.nl/os2ecs/ecs6e50.htm and the Dutch version can be found here http://joopn.home.xs4all.nl/os2ecs/ecs6n50.htm.

I have also updated the picture ;-)

Want to remark that for some reason previous versions 14.6x didn't respond well on our Java implementation. Don't know what, but I had some difficulties with the mouse.  The new version doesn't show this behavior. Have fun!

And this is a screen capture of the program running on my system;

Up to the next program...

Today I have added the program GenealogyJ. Jan-Erik Lärka wrote about it in January 2013, but for some unknown reason I didn't download and test it. Probably to much programs for testing. Today this is history. I have made two pages, one in the English language, you find it here http://joopn.home.xs4all.nl/os2ecs/ecs6e78.htm and one in the Dutch language, you find it here http://joopn.home.xs4all.nl/os2ecs/ecs6n78.htm.

Also made a nice screenshot with PMView;

That's it for today...

On September 27, 2013 Martin Iturbide wrote about this program. Today I have added this program to the list of available Java programs for OS/2-eCS. Its JClic, with this program you can make "programs" for computer assisted education of students. You can read how to install it on your system, this is the English version http://joopn.home.xs4all.nl/os2ecs/ecs6e79.htm and this is the Dutch version http://joopn.home.xs4all.nl/os2ecs/ecs6n79.htm.

I had downloaded a training for finding out how it works, took a picture from it;

In the picture a training for kids in the age around 12 years old. Also I want to thanks Martin for the information back in 2013. With it I saw that we are busy for 4 years now in bringing Java computer programs under the attention of OS/2-eCS users.

I made a picture too;

That's it for tonight (Dutch time).

I have added the program Stamp Page Creator to the list of Java programs. It didn't go easy, there is no manual, so I had to do it with try and error. Next I don't collect stamps. I do this work ;-). I have made pages with some more information, the English page http://joopn.home.xs4all.nl/os2ecs/ecs6e81.htm and the Dutch page http://joopn.home.xs4all.nl/os2ecs/ecs6n81.htm.

Picture that it works;

Okay, up to next Java program.

I have made a picture with the different looks.

Sorry if it is going too fast. Have fun!

Thanks Martin. I downloaded some statistics. Did some filtering in Lotus 123. The OS/2-eCS pages in only English did hit 119 times in July. The Dutch pages did 165 hits in July.  On July 20 I got 1303 hits on my website, that's more than only OS/2-eCS. Uhhh? Oeps...
