Hi
I'm currently having problems installing eCS 2.0 RC7 in a new desktop machine put together by myself.
The Components are:
-
Intel DH55TC Motherboard.-
Intel i5 750 (quad) processor- SATA HDD 120GB
- 2GB RAM - DDR3 (1GBx2)
- LG SATA DVD RW
- Nvidia GEForce 9400 PCI-e
1) First try: I insert the eCS RC7 Cd and run it. I select "Boot from the ECS CD" and "Normal" setting.
It loads the disks to memory, the little eCS box appear and it traps so fast I can not see which thing it is breaking it.
The trap is. 000d
2) So I tried the options boot, selection my own values.
I changed the "Target Hardware" to: "Modern hardware, ACPI mode", press F10 and continue.
It showed me the eComStation Logo and it game the "Insert eComStation Installation CD-ROM and Press any Key"
I can't go forward from there. If I press any key it wait a little while and gave me the same error. It doesn't make any effort to read the Cd, the SATA DVD light does not light up.
I also tried the enhanced CDROM driver JJCDROM, with the same results. It seems once I press F10, it boots from what it had loaded into memory from the disks, and does not connect to the DVD drive.
I'm possible thinking that is some issue with the SATA DVD, but I'm open of suggestions of what to do.
I can not install a IDE CDROM since the mainboard doesn't not have support for it.
