Hi bobvirago

Can you give more details?
Drive size, partitions size, and on which order are the windows and ecs partitions on the hadd. Or what is on the NTFS.IFS config.sys different from the e:drive and g:

Regards

   the config is the same ...

   there is the first line

RUN=g:\ECS\SYSTEM\GenMac\DRIVER\HELPERW.EXE
REM [ Device Drivers ]
DEVICE=g:\OS2\BOOT\UNICODE.SYS
IFS=g:\ecs\boot\ntfs.ifs /RO:*
IFS=g:\OS2\JFS.IFS /LW:5,20,4 /AUTOCHECK:*
IFS=g:\OS2\HPFS.IFS /CACHg:2048 /CRECL:4 /AUTOCHECK:IG*
IFS=g:\ECS\BOOT\FAT32.IFS /CACHg:2048 /H /Q
PSD=ACPI.PSD /APIC
rem  /SMP /APIC /!NOD /TMR
REM  /APIC
REM    /SMP /APIC /!NOD /TMR
IFS=g:\OS2\BOOT\UDF.IFS /Q
IFS=g:\OS2\BOOT\CDFS.IFS /Q /W
DEVICE=g:\OS2\BOOT\OS2CDROM.DMD /Q

A question.  How did you manage to install eCS on a NTFS partition (e:)?  As far as I know the NTFS IFS driver is read only.

If the NTFS partition E: is in fact an HPFS partition then you need to check the versions of the NTFS driver on each version of eCS.  If they are different then use the one that 'sees' all the ntfs partitions.
