I'm trying to think of a list of abandoned OS/2 apps that were actually made freeware. So far, I can only think of BlueCAD, TrueSpectra Photo>Graphics and Dadaware Embellish. Can anybody think of any others?

PostRoadMailer (for a long time my favourite email app for OS/2)

Then (even though its Java) jStreetMailer (AKA Polarbar Mailer)

For a while Hacksaw was free, I'm not sure if that was meant as a permanent thing or just an offer at the time.

How to register Tonigy?

Registration is free!

Use the free key:

The key is official. It can be used for non-commercial purposes with no limitation.

PMFax (AKA PrimaFax, and FAXworks), but I am not sure where they can be downloaded From the announcement:

I thought of a couple more myself: 4OS2 and OpenWatcom both started out as commercial software before going open source.

Hi WarpWorld

I haven't hear of that law, and the link that it reference seems to be broken.

As far as "the all mighty" wikipedia says Wink
"Therefore, sharing of such software is usually considered copyright infringement, though in practice copyright holders rarely enforce their abandonware copyrights."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abandonware

I wish this could change on the future.
