I've been running OS/2 since it was 2.0 and have never had any problems installing it til today. I'm am upgrading my scsci drives. After much tinkering with the preboot menu I finally got to the registration part and it won't accept the key after I type it in. The key that I got from Mensys is a pdf file attached to the e-mail. I am assuming that the user name is a 20 charactors long with a hyphen and the regkey are the rest of the numbers that follow. The key is for ver 2.0 but should work with 2.1 right? So what am I doing wrong? I typed in all caps'.
thanks
Marc
There's no CD key for OS/2 2.0 or 2.1 - are you referring to eCS v2.0 and v2.1? The key you enter should look like this:
Type it in exactly such as this:
M.........-X....................
5............. (next field) Q...............
etc...
no brackets or such. Failing that working, I'd contact Mensys for help. Using the saved reg file didnt work for me for eCS v2.1 - I had to type it in.
