Any suggestions on how to get my camera to work in eCS 2.1? I plugged it into the USB Port and camera is not found using Cameraderie V1.5

Thanks

Hi jdeb

Is the camera seen by USBDock (Desktop -> Programs -> Utilities)?

If "No" you may want to check your USB configuration.

You might try PhotoGet/2 (sorry, I don't know where I got that). Of course, that means that the camera needs to be set to use the USB disk drive method of data transfer.

It may also be instructive to attach it to windows, to see what it thinks it is.

You could also try removing the storage card, and plug that into a card reader (funny, "card reader" used to mean reading cardboard cards, with holes in them). You may be able to tell what the format is by doing that. If it is not FAT16, or FAT32, you could have a problem.

How big is the storage card? If it is more than 2 GB, you may need to put LVM information on it to make it mount.
