Hi Dave

Looks like I need more than just the magic.dll installed then.

Guess I'll have to see what is required and where to install to.

The "WARNING: magic_load: could not find any magic files!" does not seem to cause any problems though.

Regards

Pete

Hey guys,

Good to see there's still interest in mediatomb. Seems there is some newer development at http://sourceforge.net/p/mediatomb/code/ci/master/tree/

I'll try take a look at building this in the next week or so.

Cheers,

Paul

Great news !  Thx Paul for all the hard work I was using a Java Media Server, but now streaming for an OS/2 box.

I was wondering if you could take a quick look at:  https://mediaarea.net/nn/MediaInfo

Can the dll be ported ?

Thank you again !

Greggory

Looks like Mediainfo uses the wxwidgets library for it's gui functionality.

Unfortunately, whilst there is a  port of the wxwidgets library, I've never had any success in porting apps with it and them being functional ;(

Still there :(  -- os2-20150425a.zip

Uggh. I tried to 'improve' the old patch and completely screwed it up.

It works (little testing but as good as previous ver. so far), you're awesome thx Paul ! I had to copy the old database from the previous mediatomb version to get it to start, because of the message below. The config file are back in the eCS home directory, which is great now I can move it off the root directory.

TIP: use the 'Infuse' video player on iPad if you hava an iPad/iPhone it's insane on the connection options ! Best program for iOS & VLC for iPad works too.
