Which are the Os/2 games which run fine on Ecomstation version 1.2 / 2.0 ?

Also what about the compatability of Dos and Windows 3.1 games on Ecomstation version 1.2 / 2.0 ?

I have not yet found any OS/2 game that would not run on eCS.  So far everything I've tried runs fine.

As for Dos and Windows 3.1, all of that compatibility is still there, eCS still runs DOS better then DOS, Windows 3.1 better then Windows 3.1...

Paul,

...in case you don't already have this link, there is a great site about OS/2 games. Just around the corner:

Hi

And DOSBox runs DOS games better than the eCS(OS/2) DOS VDM - due to the choice of "fake" soundcards so the games can make noises  :-)

DOSBox for OS/2 is here  http://www.joschs-robotics.de/dosbox/

Some of the posts on this forum were mentioning about games having graphics issues on ecomstation.I think an example is Simcity classic or 2000 version.

You need to own a copy of Quake 2 (not arena, Quake 3 was Arena) and you need to then download the quake2 binaries from the OS/2 Gaming site.
