Title: Riot.im - Chat - Web - IRC
Post by: Martin Iturbide on April 06, 2017, 04:30:45 am
Hi

I noticed that Riot.im tool works fine with Firefox. (without voice or video). You can even connect to the IRC freenode.
You can check out the #netlabs channel on IRC here: https://riot.im/app/#/room/#freenode_#netlabs:matrix.org (https://riot.im/app/#/room/#freenode_#netlabs:matrix.org)

This software is open source software (Apache). There is no port for OS/2, but it can be used with the browser.

Regards.

Unfortunately the glossy Riot client no longer works with older web browsers like OS/2 Firefox/SeaMonkey or TenFourFox for PowerPC Macs - fortunately more lightweight web clients like https://matrix.org/docs/projects/client/scylla (https://matrix.org/docs/projects/client/scylla) work better!

Hi Ben

I noticed that Riot stopped working, thanks for the link to the other client, I will try it out.

For the moment I don't lose faith that the new browser will support Riot too.

Regards
