Title: Boot Manager options missing in LVM screen/menu?
Post by: Dariusz Piatkowski on December 23, 2016, 02:55:46 pm
So here is something weird (I think, unless my memory is letting me down... ::)).

I decided to set my main OS/2 partition as a default bootable volume. I opened up the LVM screen, tossed the view into Physical Mode and even though I can clearly see (and LVM detects the currently installed BM partition) I have no way of actually bringing up the BM Options window (which is where one actually does all the setups, like timeouts, default boot partitions, etc).

So here is what my disk structure looks like, showing the BM partition...

Then I would simply re-install it.

Hi Dariusz

I have not installed Boot Manager for years but seem to recall that LVMs Boot Manager options are only available in "volume view" - the only options in physical view are related to creation/deletion/renaming of partitions.

The easiest way is to use the DFSee BootManager tools.
