Anybody knows where to download the ESS 1869 drivers for eCS 2.1? Or how to make OS/2 Warp ones work on eCS?
The soundcard is the only thing that isn't working for me on eCS, apart from the Synaptics Touchpad.

The OS/2 warp ones should just work. You will have to run the install program to update mmpm.ini (or is that mmpm2.ini). Might want to backup your mmos2 directory and config.sys first in case something goes wrong.
Probably installed by running minstall

Hi 83.0b.et
Hobbes is always a good place to check for drivers. At the moment the website is down but the files are still accessible using ftp
You may want to have a look here ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu/pub/os2/system/drivers/sound/ where you should find a choice of 3 versions - I suggest trying the latest version.
Regards
Pete

Thanks to both of you, I'll try to install the Warp sound drivers on eCS.
Pete, I can't access hobbes because I don't have a FTP account, could you please upload the version you 're suggesting me to use somewhere else? In case the one I have doesn't work...

Just use anonymous login (user=anonymous, password=email address)

Just use anonymous login (user=anonymous, password=email address)
Or even user=anonymous password=password
email addresses as passwords were more common in the olden days, modern browsers usually try an anonymous access before they ask for a password so if he uses a browser there should not be a problem

The drivers are working :) (v2.1.5)
I had to use install.cmd, because setup.exe didn't work.
