Title: Problem with ANPM
Post by: Lars on March 05, 2017, 01:38:50 pm
I tried to update various packages and got this:

[u'ERROR with transaction check vs depsolve:', 'nss3.dll is needed by rpm-libs-4.13.0-9.oc00.pentium4', u'Please report this error at http://yum.baseurl.org/report']

Anyone know how to resolve this problem ? I cannot find nss3.dll in any of the likely packages. I can only find nss3k.dll.
I have the same problem with nssutil3.dll vs. nssuti3k.dll.

And another one: installing "netlabs-exp" leads to this error message:
Cannot access repository dir /@unixroot/var/cache/yum/netlabs-exp

It installed these settings for the repo:
URI : http://rpm.netlabs.org/experimental/00/i386/

Perhaps not everything is working by using "pentium4". Most spec files for the RPM packages are broken enough, by using "i686" or adding this via ANPM it should be resolved.

rpm -ql nss nss-util | grep dll should list the files.

I would report that to http://trac.netlabs.org/rpm/newticket (http://trac.netlabs.org/rpm/newticket). You need a netlabs.org account (http://www.netlabs.org/en/site/member/member.xml) to do so.

It looks to me like these are packaging bugs or caused by packages not already being available in netlabs-rel, but just in netlabs-exp.

BTW: nss3.dll is contained in the nss 3.23.0-3 package. About the second one: As a user, you should better avoid to install packages from an experimental (netlabs-exp) repository.

I had some problem.
My solution
Close ANPM
yum erase nss
Start ANPM
accept to reinstall YUM
