2) Paul Smedley (developer, porting software and libraries)

3) Lewis G Rosenthal (IT consultant)

There are many good Thinkpad laptops:
Thinkpad T61 (Frankenpad) with IPS display,
Thinkpad X61 Tabet with IPS.
X200 Tablet with IPS display,. ..

You can use standard SATA 2 disks, SSD disks.

As you can see, the users don't send Hardware reports.

Only a company which is working with Hardware (or writing drivers for OS/2) every day is able to collect information. Sort it, clean, Read forums, bug-trackers and collect bits of information.

So, try activate Legacy OS, disable UEFI.

I tried eComStation Demo CD.
But,It was stopped with a message as "Installed OS2LVM.DMD".

differencies:
* http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Category:X61_Tablet
* http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/Category:X60_Tablet

Advantages:
* Chipset is faster, CPU is faster.
* You can activate SATA 2 on X61 Tablet => hard drive works 2x times faster .. for SSD 5x .. 10x times faster.
* You can use N wifi adapter
