General Discussion / Problem on the PDF creation
« on: February 16, 2015, 09:02:08 pm »
Greetings
Any person knowing the resolve of a problem on the PDF creation?

Source file print comes out of Maul and tried to many drivers and ePDF combination: Apple Color Laser Write 12/1600, HP DesignJet 750c Plus/PS, ePDF PS driver. I make prints to file and ePDF.
ePDF make return error code = 1.
Postscript files I open in GSView returns = below is text.

The Maul source file contain clipped frames (transparency?). How to make a compatible PDF or PS with such design?
Thank you.

For the user of this software, Release is new, and 2.7 request a Java 7 at the least. Is different from the last versions and available os/2 Java.

Networking / Secure qt4 browser

I see current versions of Dooble and Qupzilla with difficulty connecting to https' sites. I do not recall it happening before as much and not changed hardware or settings.
I speculate is maybe the old version of webkit to fault?

Internet / Flash and file uploads
« on: December 19, 2013, 09:09:13 pm »
I'm running eComStation 2.1 installed not virtual and using Firefox 10.0.12. When trying to upload files to a CMS-django in this instance-I always encounter a file IO error. The CMS uses Flash to upload multiple files but from my end there's no way to turn on single file mode. I assume this is a Flash problem rather than Firefox. I'm using Shockwave Flash

    File: npflos2.dll
    Version: 0.4.1.0
    Shockwave Flash 11.5 r502

This is annoying because I have to go to a Windows machine to upload files. Any one have thoughts on a possible fix?  Thank you.

Hardware / PostScript level 3 driver
« on: September 23, 2013, 06:01:34 pm »
Anyone know of an OS/2-eCS compatible driver for creating level 3 ps files? The Apple 12/600 is seemingly just level 2. As as I know gs 871 supports pdf 1.4 but need a driver to write the file.

Applications / OO.org 3.2 & threads
« on: August 13, 2013, 02:47:22 am »
I tried increasing the THREADS on my system based on advice in a book called Using OS/2 Warp. I upped the value from 1024 to 2048, and upon reboot OpenOffice.org refused to launch. I'm curious why this was the only program affected by the change. Any thoughts?

I have a T43 running ecs 2.1 with 1GB ram
