I would not see why RSJ would not work with ArcaOS since its OS/2 under the bonnet :-)
Note however that RSJ has not been updated for the last 10 years.

Does DVD tools with CD record not work with which ArcaOS ships  ? It seems that cdrecord.exe was updated.

With RSJ, i was able to burn two CD/DVD at a same time while I did't try DVD tools yet and is it able to do it ?
I already would like update and make new design my older gui.

I have no way to verify it as I don't have a system with 2 DVD drives but I see no particular reason cdrecord could not burn two drives simultaneously.  I have, and occasionally use,RSJ still but I have been doing most of my burning with cdrecord from the command line - just because I tend to find that easiest - and the command that is issued to do the burning tells it which device to burn to, I know of no reason two such commands could not be issued as long as each used the correct corresponding device.  As I can test this, I cannot say for certain there is not something that needs work but can't think of a reason it should not work.

Thanks Andy for your replay.

In the past, it didn' work due it was not possible to run 2 times cdrecord which has to lock the burner to operate with it (under my older eCS, it didn't work.

I'll give it a new try and see results.
If it failes than I'll check for RSJ

Thanks

At this point, RSJ is still the only way to write to USB connected CD and DVD writeable media drive under ArcaOS. I think work is under way to support DVD tools on USB attached devices.

1) RSJ had some prob with devices attached via AHCI.
2) my USBMSD.ADD update should support USB CD/DVD also for recording.
That`s because USBMSD.ADD merely unwraps and rewraps (for certain technical reasond) every SCSI wrappered command that it receives from OS2CDROM.DMD.IBM was smart enough to pick an established protocol as the command protocol for CD/DVD devices.
I don't know if it will still work with the AN USB stack.I have no insight in what they do.
