The OS/2 Files

General

Ever liked to play one of your old favourites again? But: The old computer/console's gone. Well, rescue is near to come in face of the emulators. By now modern computers are fast enough to emulate older gaming gaming consoles like the Atari VCS 2600 or Sega Master Gear and older computers like the Apple II, the C64 or some not so old ones like the Atari ST and Commodore Amiga at original speed or faster. The high possible speed sometimes even makes using emulator interesting for re-activating serious applications.

Last but not least some links: Vintage Gaming Network offers an overview covering almost everything that calls itself emulator and can be used to play games.

My direct "competitor" is Martin Iturbide's OS/2 Emulation Site. This site focuses on native emulators, i.e. pure OS/2 programs, that you can download from his site.
