Installing under Warp 4

OS/2 Warp v4 comes with the latest PnP and DART enabled drivers for the Vibra16, SB16, SB32 and AWE32 sound cards. If you have one of these cards, you should use the drivers that come with OS/2 Warp v4.

  • If you already have Warp v4 installed with no Sound support, install MMOS2 and the drivers that come with it (AWE32 drivers for AWE32 for SB32, SB16 Drivers for any other form of the SB16 (including the Vibra 16 cards).
  • If you're installing OS/2 Warp v4 for the first time, select the appropriate sound card during the installation (AWE32 drivers for AWE32 for SB32, SB16 Drivers for any other form of the SB16 (including the Vibra 16 cards), and you should be fine.

To install Win-OS/2 support IBM provides a nice REXX script. You can download it from here.
