He was in charge of the OS/2 fixpacks in the last days of OS/2 Warp 4.52 at IBM. He retired and moved to Florida.
Irv Spalten is a software engineer in the OS/2 area of the Software Group division of the IBM Corporation, where he has been working in OS/2 since 1.0 and held many positions within OS/2 including developer, build lead, release management, and most recently working in Service and Support. Within Service and Support he has worked as the lead in the on-line BBS area and was the primary Sysop on the OS/2 CompuServe forums and the IBM TalkLink areas. He worked in the FixPak Packaging and Release area and was the owner of the FixTool.
