General Comments

Neil Waldhauer - USB 3.x test Report
Arca Noae USB driver stack 12.06 is installed. With the USB 3.0 Enabled setting in BIOS on Auto, mouse and keyboard sometimes work, even with KVM. Support for Mass Storage similarly sometimes is working. With USB 3.0 disabled in BIOS, USB 2.0 support is working with Mass Storage. Mouse, keyboard and KVM work sometimes.
Normal operation of the laptop does not require USB. The built-in mouse and keyboard are not USB.
This is a small laptop. There is no support for the built-in WiFi. I use a travel router connected to the Ethernet port. To me, the travel router has more and better capability than XWLAN. The router uses GL.inet software controlled by a web interface that runs just fine in Firefox.
Mike Kölling Report
ArcaOS 5.0.4 with USB 3.0 drivers is working. However he experienced performance issues with the mouse, when using the X250 in the docking station. (The mouse is running smooth with xHDC, when the X250 is out of the docking station).

Installation of AOS5.0.1 went successful, also installation of eCS2.2BetaII - both from external DVD-Drive (USB), USB only stable with the branch of Lars Erdmann.
Old
Installation on X250 from USB-CD/DVD-ROM failed. eCS v2.1 started up to maintenance screen bot no HDD was found. eCS v2.2 Beta II even did not start up from CD/DVD-ROM. I tried to clone my existing system using DFSee and finally worked after some trouble with partition alignment. Status now on X250 is a working eCS v.2.1 with ACPI showing 4 cores, full support of native screen resolution via PANORAMA, working USB (mouse and thumb drive tested as well as USB keyboard in docking station) after disabling USB3.0 in BIOS.

Audio

There had been reported on the OS2World forum to make the Uniaud driver to work om this model.

The try the following command on Startup.cmd

unimix -id1 -val87 -cnt0
unimix -id1 -val87 -cnt1

It is possible that newer version of Uniaud will include this settings.
