I have a 320GB disk which previously had Windows installed.
Initially I thought I would try to use the disk as a dual boot system by shrinking the NTFS volume, but was unable to find any way of installing OS/2 so eventually I completely removed the NTFS partition. When trying to install OS/2 it showed the disk as being 130GB so I thought Windows had done something with the disk, and it had...There was a 1GB partition in the middle of the disk. Eventually I deleted that using GParted on Linux and Linux showed the disk size as 320GB.
On trying to install OS/2 it again showed the disk as 130GB... so I thought that that something had been left on the disk, so I cleared it down both through Linux and FreeBSD. Both showed it to be a 320GB disk...
Back to OS/2, same as before. I tried DFSee and even that showed 130GB.
Anyone know where I should look to see what's goung on.
I suppose when it boots I can get some output from IBM1S506.ADD by adding '/V' in config.sys, but it will wizz past before I can read it, and I'm not sure I would be able to undertand the values shown.
Maybe it's a limit in IBM1S506 and I should replace it with DANIS506....
