Corrupt Partition Table

(1/2) > >>

warp:
I am trying to arrange a multiboot system, with Win 7, eCS 2.1 and Linux. When I create the first partition, which is dedicated to Win 7, I got the message "Disk 1 reports a corrupt partition table".

I already tried the "Rewrite MBR" option, but it doesn't seem to solve the problem.

Thank you for your suggestions.

Roderick Klein:
It would be very helpful if you first open a bug report on www.ecomstation.com. And then we take it from there.
Also is this with eCS 2.1 or 2.2 beta.

warp:
I am using eCS 2.1 and before this problem, I had a dual boot with Win 7 and Linux, with GAG as boot manager.

To Warp:

Do you know the main rule? All partitions (volumes) should be created from eComStation using LVM.
1) create partitions from eCS, 2) Install Windows, 3) Install Linux, 4) Install eCS

Martin Iturbide:
Hi Warp

Can you give out more details (or put the details on the ticket if you are opening one).
- Which HDD size are you using
- How is HDD partitioned, order of the partitions and size.
- Which tool are you going to use for dual boot (Windows 7 Loader, GRUB, Airboot,...) ?

Regards
