OS/2 will be 30 in December, that's 6 months away. Are there any plans to celebrate this event?

Hi

I didn't know OS/2 1.0 was released on December 1987.  It is good to save the date.

So, which day should we throw the party ?  :) :)

Goodness, that late ? That would have been Standard Edition, with no connectivity whatsoever. I think I returned to Hursley in June 87 and immediately signed up for the 1.2 Extended Edition Beta (with daily shipments of 35 diskette images arriving each morning). Certainly I have a Hertz receipt from Austin, dated early July. So I must have been a believer by then or they would not have let me in!

I have a niggly feeling that only MS shipped 1.0, IBM going for 1.1 with some degree of connectivity. But I could be wrong.
