New printer and web icons.

Now over 200 PNG icons sized in 80x80 pixels now in the package.  Will delete the earlier packages.

Just updated my jade, blue, and brown portal folders adding more folder icons.  Removed the earlier zips.  Pics of what some of the icons look like can be found on page 2 near the bottom.

Remember, there are various ways to handle the second icon.  It is up to your imagination.

1.  Don' assign an open folder
2.  Assign the brown folder for open
3   Assign an empty jade folder
4.  Assign an empty brown folder
5.  Assign an empty ring for the open folder
6.  Assign a ring with a brown interior
7. etc

My first animated arrow pointer.  It is a highly visible 32x32 animated ballon ptr.  It changes colors.
Just unzip and copy the folder to the os/2 pointers folder.  Open the mouse icon and select the arrow pointer.  Then select load set and select the folder with the icons.

Just added a new animated shuttle ptr.
Added a ani charged pointer.

Hi David.

Just in case I had been looking around for some icons and "Icon Park" has some very nice ones and public domain. Maybe you already know about it.

Hi Martin

I was not aware of it.  Since ArcaOS has PNG capability, the more to choose from the better.  Thanks.

Hi Martin

Glad to see you posted here.  Hope others feel free to post their graphics here.  It makes it easier to look for what they want or need.

Hi David.

By any chance have you created any improved version of the "System Setup Icons" (like the ones that I'm attaching) that looks more similar to the original, but optimized and with a higher resolution?

I would really like to have some SVG format of a nicer version of the "plain system setup" icon, so the rest icons can be improved and maintain the old fashion way that I like, I kind of like those icons. It is a thing of a personal preference, don't believe I want to force people to the same taste  ;D

Martin

Are you saying is it possible to make PNG icons similar to the pics?  Yes.

However, if I did so, I might try to upgrade the graphics inside the control icon.

I will play around and see.

Hi David.

Those looks very good. Thanks.
I was wondering if you have it on SVG (vector format) or just work with those in PNG?  I know that the final file must be on PNG to work, but SVG is good since it can be any size without loosing image quality.

Hi Martin. We don't seem to have any SVG support. I ported Potrace, http://potrace.sourceforge.net/ and played a bit.
Problems include no colour support but according to the web site, can layer. These PNG's don't translate to well to BMP or PBM due to having OBJECTS and/or LAYERS.
I used Embellish to convert the PNG's, some to PBM some to BMP, which I ran through mkbitmap to convert to PBM, test3 I also converted to greyscale.
The potential is there, need to play a bit. For help, run the help output through less as there is a line ending issue, potrace --help | less

I'll probably upload the full program to Hobbes after more testing.

Edit, the SVG's don't seem to display here for some reason. I tested by drag'n'dropping them on the browser (SeaMonkey)
