Neil Waldhauer:
I recall if you use pinball.sys and the code pages do not match, the HPFS drive is munged. Do I remember that correctly?

Moises08:
Ok, will chkdsk fix my partition without wiping?

Moises08:
I ran mountvol in windows just to be able to use chkdsk, and there is no unmounted volume mentioned!

I munged my HPFS partitions with it. Seems that you really don't want to use it with partitions over 4.3 GBs or so. In my case I recovered my HPFS partitions by doing a quick format and then a chkdsk /F:3.

@Jaroslav, there are Linux based rescue disks that might help you, perhaps some Googling will help.

Moises08:
Why in file manager of ecs the only drive available is npfs drive, and NTFS are not there, while ntfs driver IS installed, for sure?
