yEd is no longer available for Java 6. It need today minimum Java 8.

I use yEd 3.14.4.
>javaw -jar yed.jar

Or from program WPS object:

Path and file name: *
Parameters: /c javaw -jar yed.jar
Working directory: c:\programs\yed-3.14.4
