For what I understand they are moving from a "some components are open soruce and other don't" to a full open source license. Sharing the source code does not mean it is open source. Open source means it is under
one of this licenses.
But the reason for me to post this (on the off topic forum) is to also show there is activity, support and market for OSS operating systems
I respect the accomplishment of RISC OS, Haiku OS and React OS, even if they are not my platform or choice. Why creating another open source OS if the world already have Linux? That's their accomplishment.
