Wacom Graphire tablet
« on: October 31, 2013, 03:10:37 pm »
I saw the great page on digitizer support for os2 http://home.hccnet.nl/w.m.brul/penguide/ which shows a lot of support, but not for my old Wacom Graphire USB tablet. I visited the 1drop website and downloaded support for my tablet.

I described what I did my website. http://www.blondeguy.com/WacomGraphire.html

My only issue so far is for mouse button 2. I can't seem to activate mouse button 2 on the stylus. But the rest works well.

Neil,

You can deactivate emi.sys, its only use is to implement touch which is not in the mouse driver. The pen or any pointing device is going over the mouse driver. Therefore you need to install the drivers in the right order.  There are only a very few programs which do support touch.

Second, the pen with your tablet is a very expensive one, once you have to replace it. The rubber lining is not protective enough for your body fluids. In time the rubber grip will crack and beneath that layer you will find accumulated body fat or so. Its not a pleasant view.

You can't activate your mouse button 2 on the stylus if you didn't installed a three button mouse driver. Your stylus point is button one, the lower button is button 2 and the upper button is mouse button 3. Or any other order if you programmed it that way.

Cheers,
Joop
