There is a fix on ArcaOS bucktracker.  On my T430S, I can use DOS and Winos2 full screens, but not their window counterparts.

viop-1.0.wpi
Code: [Select]
Introduction
============

VIOP.SYS is a VDD that intercepts and cancels a specific IO
operation done by a specific BIOS on certain systems.

IF YOUR SYSTEM DOES NOT HAVE THE EXACT HARDWARE AND THE EXACT
BIOS THAT THIS VDD ADDRESSES, THEN THIS PACKAGE WILL NOT WORK
ON YOUR SYSTEM.

THIS PACKAGE IS NOT INTENDED TO BE A FIX FOR ANY OF THE DOS
SESSION PROBLEMS. VIOP.SYS is a temporary partial workaround
for only one of the several problems affecting DOS sessions
and only on certain systems.

If you install this software and it does not work, you should
immediately uninstall this software.

THIS PACKAGE IS PROVIDED AS-IS. THIS SOFTWARE WILL ONLY WORK
ON A SPECIFIC TYPE OF SYSTEM WITH A SPECIFIC BIOS. THERE IS
NO SUPPORT FOR THIS SOFTWARE. INSTALL AT YOUR OWN RISK. DO
NOT REPORT PROBLEMS WITH THIS SOFTWARE.

Installation
============

The distribution is a Warpin package. Simply execute it with Warpin.

Your system must have DOS installed on your boot volume or the
installer will refuse to run.
