Updated Uniaud32 build

Dave Yeo:
Hi Mark, I think the audio adapters on video cards might be mostly for DRMed content, things like playing a bluray or DRMed streaming like Netflix. They don't want you tapping into the audio (or visual) stream and saving it like you could do with a regular audio adapter. So the audio driver would be part of the video driver for that card on platforms that are supported.

Paul Smedley:
Hey All,

It's been a while between drinks, but I updated uniaud32 to the 5.15 kernel. I first looked at this almost a year ago, and got lost in trying to implement the missing kernel functionality.

I took a slightly different approach this time, and got a compiled binary, that seems to work in virtualbox. I'll try see if my real hardware works as well over the weekend.

Link is https://smedley.id.au/tmp/uniaud32-linux-5.15-20220805.zip

Next steps will be to get to the current 5.15.x LTS build (5.15.59 at the time of writing)

The 5.15 kernel is a Long Term Support kernel, that has a projected end of life date of October 2023.

Cheers,

Paul

David McKenna:
