I tried uniaud32-linux-5.10.5-20210108.zip on an Yoga 11e (1st gen) and now I have no stutters anymore, volume control works and Dosbox makes noise again.
Good job, Paul.

PS: I will also test the test builds on a T420.

A couple :) Doing a dir of uniaud32-*202*.zip on my webserver temp directory, I get the following:

Sorry, but I have had a serious problem with my cell phone (now fixed).  Then my brother is having a PMMail problem, as well as a desktop problem, so I haven't had time to look at this. I will probably be able to get to it sometime tomorrow, if I can see, after an eye exam.

All good - I'm back at work now anyway, so my amount of spare time to investigate things is significantly reduced...

Cheers,

Paul

https://smedley.id.au/tmp/uniaud32-linux-5.10.7-20210115.zip - code bumped to linux 5.10.7 level - small changes as listed in http://trac.netlabs.org/uniaud/changeset/643

BINGO! Now it works, better than any other UniAud that I have working. It seems to have turned off the open input too.

THANK YOU

Whilst I'm pleased to hear it's working for you, I'm struggling to understand what's changed in the code to fix things <shrug>

Cheers,

Paul

The mismatch of using one mutex for locking and unlocking a different mutex. That surely led to a hang.
I am talking about file patch_hdmi.c.

Except we're not currently compiling patch_hdmi.c :)

Same failure as the prior ones, however it does work with OS4.

Thanks!
