eCS 2.1 VM on VMWare ESXi
« on: November 27, 2013, 06:59:10 pm »
Hi

Today I tried to install eComStation 2.1 on VMWare ESXi Server.  It seems to work fine.

I posted some information about it on the OS2World.com Wiki:
http://www.os2world.com/wiki/index.php/VMWare_ESXi

If someone will like to add something, feel free to edit the wiki (same userid and password of this forum).

Hi Martin,

Just a question.  What version of ESXi did you use and what server?

I tried to install WSeB on a quite old version on an HP DL385 server with rather indifferent results.

I use VMWare ESXi 4.1 with Linux OpenSuse 12.3 as my mail server. Soon I will build another virtual machine with my WSeB formerly used on real hardware ( it is referenced as supported OS). As it comes, I will write about the results.

Excellent Jan.

When you write something please let me know if I can add it to the Os2World Wiki... or you are also free to add it by yourself too.
