OS2BOOT can not be found?
« on: July 15, 2020, 05:29:15 am »
Greetings,

So I went to reinstall Arca on my esxi server and decided not to use the dvd. I wanted to just use the .iso and it made it all the way through past selecting what to install naming the machine etc. then it hung and gave a OS2BOOT cannot be found and won’t pass that, even if I ctl alt del. I know it runs, perfectly in fact on esxi, just won’t install by iso or usb

Any ideas?

Rick

I seem to recall that was the case, but I haven't tried since eSXi was a beta. VMWare support is really good at OS/2.

I recently installed ArcaOS 5.0.5 on my ESXi 7 server, using the ISO file. I had no issues.

I do recommend checking the VMWare installation directions, particularly the VM configuration settings, on the virtual machines section of the Arca Noae wiki.
