Bipra usb hdd - how to make partitions?

I now have a Bipra external usb2 hdd
5.0.6 recognizes it as 'C' drive when plugged in
Is it possible to make a couple of partitions; one for data and one for programs ?
Perhaps there is documentation somewhere on the best way to manage an external hdd?
Any suggestions on how to proceed much appreciated.

Boot into the installer, and mount the drive. Run DiskUtil, and wipe the drive. Reboot the installer, and run DiskUtil again. If no problems are found, exit DiskUtil and run MiniLVM and create any partitions you like.

Other operating systems will also be able to use a disk prepared in this way.

FYI.

It is not specifically about a USB HDD, but it can give you hint.. please select the correct drive... and take a backup 

After that I think you can use on ArcaOS, "System Setup -> Logical Volume Manager (Simple) " to create the partitions on your USB HDD but I need to practice this more.
