Lars:
Aspirout.sys interacts with os2aspi.dmd. I don't see a direct relationship with os2dasd.dmd. But maybe there is a bug where one driver overwrites memory of another driver or some such.

Hi

Not clear why scanimage would even affect it. Is there a card reader or thumb drive or something attached to the scanner?

The strange thing is that I get the OS2DASD trap on both scanners, plugged individually. The Epson L4150 is a multifunction printer, it does not have card reader, but it may have more internal things. The HP ScanJet Pro 2000 S1 is just a pure scanner.

i have a canon Lide 210 scanner.
i read it is supported by sane, still here it is not mentioned: http://www.fbakan.de/sane-os2-configuration.htm
also not listed within tame..

guess it is not supported by os/2? hope i am wrong..

when i start sane-find-scanner.exe all i see is black..

pm-dll shows red for usb100.dll and usbcalls.dll
my usb100.dll's date is 23.12.19
usbcalls.dll from 29.10.20

Pete:
Hi andreas

Support for the LiDE 210 is shown as complete see http://www.sane-project.org/sane-mfgs.html#Z-CANON

Try using the following command to see if your scanner is found

   scanimage -L

Pete:
Hi Martin

Do any new drives appear in the Drives folder when you attach a scanner?
