Since you asked for 'apps' - something we don't have on OS/2 (such things appear to be part of the smartphone culture and are usually meaningless bits of code that take up the limited storage space on said phones) - I have listed utilities, that get installed on every instance of OS/2 that I build, and programs that everyone here use.

Utilities:
World Clock
IRQ Monitor
CPU
IP Speed
Iniedit

Programs:
Describe
File Fredom
CoolReader
DFSee
Lucide

I have been thinking about this, for a few days, so here is my list:

PMMail for OS/2
ProNews/2
PM123
PMView
QPDFView

The last one is not really a OS/2 specific program, but it is a necessary program, that has improved quite a bit, recently.
