Blue Lion and Seagate BarraCuda 510 M.2 NVMe SSD?
« on: May 30, 2021, 01:59:28 am »
Seagate BarraCuda 510 M.2 2280 500GB PCIe G3 x4, NVMe 1.3 3D TLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) ZP500CM3A001 probably with a ASUS PRIME Z590-P LGA 1200 Intel Z590 SATA 6Gb/s ATX Intel Motherboard  :D

These are going for $54 on Newegg now, off from $84 !  Amazon $56.

I'm behind the times does Blue Lion support them?

How is the driver working - NVME Driver version 1.01 released ???

Cheers,

Greggory

I've got a machine booting from a 2 TB M.2 NVMe SSD using the release driver. It's 2-3 times faster than a SATA 6 SSD. I'd advise to read the readme for configuring BIOS and Config.Sys. Basically, the NVMe drive should be first in BIOS and the driver should be the first in Config.Sys.

Thx Neil, pressing the order button now :)

Can I message you about a Lenovo ThinkPad T540p I found vs a newer model later tomorrow ?
